What this Portland letter does

How Oregon law applies in Portland

Oregon typically requires at least 30 days' written notice for the termination of a month-to-month tenancy. Only within the first year of occupancy; after the first year no-cause termination is generally prohibited and qualifying causes require 60–90 days (ORS § 90.427).
