Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what data Traquor collects, why, and how we use it. We've kept it short.
Last updated: June 12, 2026.
What we collect
- Your email address, provided at signup, used to authenticate your account and to contact you about your account (e.g. password resets, receipts, security incidents).
- Your password, stored only as a one-way hash (via PHP's
password_hash). We cannot see your actual password. - The answers you enter when composing letters, stored in your account so you can return to drafts and revise finalized documents.
- Usage analytics via Google Analytics 4 (page views and product events such as starting or finalizing a letter, with IP anonymization enabled). We do not send your letter content to analytics.
- Standard server-access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent), used for security and abuse prevention. Retained for up to 30 days.
Service providers we share data with
- Stripe processes payments. Your card number goes to Stripe, never to us. Stripe receives your email to send receipts.
- Anthropic processes your letter text when you click "Enhance with AI" — the letter draft is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the improved version, and is subject to Anthropic's commercial data-use terms (not used to train models).
- Google Analytics receives anonymized usage data as described above.
- Postmark delivers transactional email (password resets, letter notifications) and receives your email address for that purpose.
- Amazon CloudFront is our content-delivery network and sees standard web-request metadata.
- If you purchase certified-mail delivery (when available), the mail vendor receives your letter content and the sender/recipient addresses — that's what mailing it requires.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How we use your data
The email and password let you sign in. The letter answers let you generate, save, and retrieve your documents. Analytics tell us which pages and features work. Server logs are reviewed for abuse and security incidents. We do not use your letter content for advertising.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or have it permanently deleted at any time. To delete your account and all associated documents, email support@traquor.com. We complete account deletion within 7 days. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, and other states with consumer-privacy statutes have additional statutory rights; email us to exercise them.
Data storage and security
Data is stored on our own servers in the United States. We use industry-standard transport-layer security (HTTPS), HSTS preload, modern password hashing, and a strict content-security policy. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a breach affecting your account we will notify you within 72 hours, as required by most U.S. state breach-notification laws.
Children
The service is intended for adults handling their own legal correspondence. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
We will post any material change here and update the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes (e.g. new categories of data collection) will also be emailed to you.
