How Oregon handles this

Under Oregon Revised Statutes § 90.394, you must give the tenant a written pay-or-quit notice giving at least 10 days to either pay the full amount due or vacate. Common mistakes to avoid in Oregon

  • Serving the notice incorrectly. Oregon typically requires personal service or posting plus mailing; check your local rules.
